Figure 2 shows the effect of coal/PKS ratio on the strength of briquettes, although the effect is not significant and without any tendency/pattern. The highest and the lowest compressive strengths have shown by the bio-briquette with Ca/S ratio of 2:1 at coal/PKS ratios of 60:40 and 50:50, i.e. 0.34 and 0.08 kg/mm2 (34 and 8 kg/cm2), respectively.
